Our intention is to sustain a quality service with the latest equipment from manufacturers who are constantly improving their specifications and support, such as JCB, Daf & John Deere. ACS offers a wide range of plant & equipment available on a self drive or operated basis to meet the requirements of Industry, the Environment & Agriculture.
0.5 tonnes to 15 tonnes, including Micro diggers with hydraulically adjustable track widths, enabling the machinery to fit through a 2'6" doorway, then pull a lever to expand your track base width ready for work. Our fleet also includes the popular zero tail swing option in our 7 tonne excavator, ideal for groundwork operations. Our excavators can be supplied with a full range of buckets, including large capacity ‘sludge' handling buckets for bio-solids, composts and bulky materials on our larger machines. To accompany the ACS excavators we have a range of dumpers suited to each size of excavator.
These versatile machines are a fundamental item of plant on construction sites, waste transfer stations and in Agriculture to name but a few. Their vast flexibility & adaptability provides a universal machine to carry out lifting, bulk loading, fetch & carry duties, sweeping & site towing.
For large bulk loading of materials from soil, aggregate & Bio-solids the modern loading shovel range comes into its own. ACS operate machines from 8.5 to 22 tonnes (2.0 cubic metres to 3.5 cubic metres) with some of our fleet supplied with Hi-tip buckets, weigh loaders, reversing cameras & air conditioning. Tyres are specifically fitted to maintain safe stable working on slippery surfaces such as sewage works or paper mills where sludges are handled on concrete flooring.
The fleet is mainly made up from 100 to 280 hp units made by John Deere & JCB. The JCB Fastrac is a versatile and reliable unit capable of site and land based work, such as towing & operating bowsers, sweepers & trailers.
